About this class:

This Series of talks is aimed at those who would like to understand the underpinnings of Ayurveda and use the interventions. It will focus on improving wellness through the practice of the Daily Routine and dietary interventions. No prior knowledge will be necessary if these talks are well received more will be arranged.

This course will go over the same material that was covered in Angela's April course and go into more depth where time allows.

  • Lecture 1 Introduction to the Philosophy of Ayurveda and the fundamental concepts.
  • Lecture 2 Looking at the Disease process in Ayurveda, concepts relating to flavours of food and promoting health with a balanced diet in Ayurveda.
  • Lecture 3 An examination of the daily routine according to Ayurveda.
  • Lecture 4 The effect of the Seasons on our and ways to manage it for optimum health.

Angela Hope-Murray MSc (Ayur), MA, BSc (Ost) D.O, HCPC reg Pod. Is an Ayurvedic practitioner with a background in osteopathy, podiatry Nutrition, Spagyric medicine and Marmapuncture (Ayurvedic Acupuncture) who specialises in musculoskeletal conditions and nutrition With over 40 years of experience, Angela has a particular interest in psychosomatics and the effect of the emotions on bodily health works to bring balance back into your life.
